McCorkle's Eatery & Pub
Our dining is on a first come, first served basis. However, if you have a large party, are planning an event, or you are interested in renting out our banquet room, drop us a line and we'll hook you up.
We're located in the heart of "Old Towne" across the street from McCorkle Park. Centrally located, you can easily get to us from any direction. Here's a map, but if you get lost, just give us a call and we'll tell you how to get here.

Why are we named McCorkle's? The founder of the city of Cameron was named Samuel McCorkle. In 1854 he set up shop about 1.5 miles east of our location and called it Somerville. However, the Hannibal and St. Joseph Railroad proposed coming through the area and Somerville was too steep for a train. So his men and a team of Oxen dragged the 3 buildings in Somerville to what is now Old Towne Cameron. It was named after his wife Melinda Cameron in 1855.
McCorkle Park was the centerpiece of his town and so it remains today. So in 1997, what was once Kime's Hardware became McCorkle's Eatery and Pub, named after Samuel McCorkle himself. If only he was alive today to try our food!
